Our Story
Eljé's Cottage was born from a simple dream: create a space where people can truly rest. Not just sleep — but rest in the deepest sense. A place where the kettle is always ready, the garden is always green, and the stars are always bright. Nestled in the quiet side of Parys, we renovated this home with love and intention. Every tile was chosen, every wall painted, every garden bed planted with one question in mind: "Will this make our guests feel at home?"
Every room has been thoughtfully designed with fresh, clean interiors, private en-suite bathrooms with motion sensors and extractor fans, and the kind of small details that make a big difference to your stay.
Living Green, Naturally
We believe that comfort and sustainability go hand in hand. Our cottage runs entirely on solar power, draws clean water from our own borehole, and uses energy-efficient systems throughout. The garden thrives on indigenous plants that love the Free State sun. When you stay with us, you're not just resting — you're resting easy.
